Meet Jetta. an 8 year old toy female. Came into rescue with missing eye and broken front leg. She was going to be put down at the shelter due to leg injury but rescue was called. CPR tried to save the leg by doing multiple surgeries but pins would not stay so leg was finally amputated. Her eye socket was removed and she was spayed. All this took a year. She has been in rescue 3 years now. She is a bit fiesty and is losing sight in the one eye she has which is hard for her. She likes her human to be home and must sleep right next to you! She would like to be an only dog but does live with other dogs and tolerates them. Her medical costs were high during the year of surgeries but she is now a normal dog with normal costs. Donations help CPR provide the medical care needed to save these dogs. |
