Well the foster who went to pickup another dog, saw that Sausy was on her way to be euthanized and just couldn't let it happen. So meet Sausy, she is named Sausy because she looks like a sausage. I bet you have heard that before! This little girl was in need of some good care. Her skin was a mess, it took 3 baths the first day to get all the fleas and smell off her. Then it was baths every few days with special shampoo to get her skin condition under control. She had a bad teeth and ears, both were taken care of. She uses drops for her dry eye and the Cherry Eye is not harmful and is not required to be removed, it is only cosmetic. We cannot perform such things unless she can drum up some funds from wonderful folks like you! Please sponsor Sausy. Sausy would prefer to be an only dog and rule the roost but does not have to, she lives with several dogs now and is fine most of the time, only when someone gets on her does she care. She is crated when left at home w/out her foster parents and seems to prefer that to being left out. She would like to find a home where the people are not gone all day to work or whatever. She is a little cutie-pie and can be adoring to her people.
